El Gusano verde at Evansville University

10:00AM - 12:00PMLa Hispanidad Workshop for Children and/or Adults - Bower-Suhrheinrich RoomWorkshop for children and/or adults – “El Gusano Verde” (The Green Inchworm), a multicultural-performing arts presentation which includes dancing, music, puppetry, crafts and storytelling, Bower-Suhrheinrich Room, Union. Karla Florez and Enrique Olaya, Colombian natives, from the Ombligo e’ Kazabe Foundation for Arts and Culture in New York, will be in charge of a multicultural-performing arts show. Handcraft and face painting/nail painting is also available. This is an interactive workshop which combines dance and language arts. This structure gives to the audience the opportunity to participate in making costumes, playing music or dancing. Participants will also be able to reinforce, learn or practice the Spanish language.
